Silly protestors. If they wanted a tank so badly they can be had pretty cheaply. Hell, you can get a '74 Sabre for £14,000 in the UK, just like this guy did for his shopping errands. I’m tell you, light recon tanks are the Hummers of the next decade.
I’m going on a tank-driving day tomorrow where we get our grubby mitts on a Ferret armoured car, 432 armoured personnel carrier, a 17 ton Abbot Gun Tank and a Rapier Rocket Carrier, as well as a ride in a lance missile supply. Apparently there are guns and stuff as well to play with…yay!
One of those dinky little tanks would be fun, I can just see myself tootling round the carpark at my local Asdastan!
