Hey guy.

[Ocean’s 11]
Who you calling buddy, pal?
Who you calling pal, friend?!
Who you calling friend, JACKASS!!?
[/Ocean’s 11]

I don’t have time to deal with you… circus animals.

[South Park]I’m not your buddy, guy.[/South Park]

My neighbor named Guy pronounces it to rhyme with buy.

“GUY” was very common when I grew up, but it went out by the mid 70s. At least for me. Of course I knew two people named “Guy.” And not the French “Gee” (with a hard G) but Guy like the word.

I recall in high school we read short stories by Guy de Maupassant

I’ve heard “Guy” both ways for the name, but Gee was the more common french one. I didn’t know a “Guy” sounding like “buy” until the Food network show “Diners, Drive ins, and dives” with Guy as the host.

I’m not your buddy, friend.
I’m not your friend, guy.

repeat ad nauseum for maximum hilarity.

I’ve only ever used it in aggressive tone, only used with strangers that I already dislike. As in, “back the fuck up, guy”

Nobody’s mentioned my favorite: Man. Not Mon like a Jamaican, but man, like, Hey man. 'tsup?
