I’m awfully interested to know if she really did lose someone in the attacks; the article doesn’t say. Whether she did or not, this is still an insult to those who did, but aren’t robbing banks to ease their grief. And even if she did, I think she’s just discredited the defense. You’re supposed to say that you don’t know what drove you to it, but on further reflection, it must have been The Matrix/9-11/Twinkies/whatever. The best defense in the world doesn’t work if it’s prefabricated.
My Great Aunt passed away a month ago. You know, ever since that happened I have had a strong compulsion to force people to give me bags and bags of money :rolleyes:
