Are you religious?
What do you believe most accurately describes the origin of life AND the theory that species may emerge through evolution?
What are your beliefs on homosexuality, and does your religion influence these beliefs at all?
What are your beliefs on abortion, and does your religion influence these beliefs at all?
Keep in mind, please that the ninth commandment (or the eighth, if you’re Catholic) states, “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.” If you follow the god of the old testament, then by pitting stoneburg you’re breaking one of your Lord’s commandments. In that case, it’s time to repent.

If you believe evolution is preposterous, you are an idiot. Idiots believe that the Earth is thousands of years old. If Stoneburg needs to be set straight, it is only in exactly which kind of idiot you are.
If you are anti-abortion, you are not necessarily an idiot. But if your morality is based strongly on your religion, then if you quibble over being described by the phrase “you are anti-abortionist on religious grounds”, you are an idiot.
Your quote on homosexuality is paraphrased thus: “The obvious truth is that there is something wrong with homosexuality”. Guess what this means.

It seems like a perfectly reasonable assertion to assume that if some jack-off constantly pops off about “God” and “souls” while denying evolution and espousing an “opposition to homosexuality” that said jack-off probably derives his moronic opinions from his religion.
So why are you “opposed” to homosexuality if not for religious reasons? What is the “obvious truth” about homosexuality you alluded to in the GD thread?
If you base your opposition to abortion on any presumption of a “soul” then you are indeed basing it on a religious belief.
I would also like to add that “oppsition to homosexuality” is per se a dipshit point of view regardless of the reason.
yguy, if you’re unwilling to state your beliefs, you’re a craven coward. You’ve certainly implied here that stoneburg’s guesses were wrong; either put up or shut up. If all you want to do is imply that he doesn’t have sufficient evidence to make his claims, why, I guess he’s just a telepath who can read your mind (such as it is) like a book.
Your false witness comes in when you imply that he’s lying about your position. That itself is bearing false witness; Jesus is ashamed of you.
He DID substantiate them, numbnuts. The ball is your court now. If you’re not going to explain why his conclusions are false then this thread is only going to get worse for you.
One more thing; Stoneburg framed his conclusions in such a way that he was asking you to refute them. He was essentially stating “this is the impression I get, am I right.” I think that he showed that his reasoning was sound in making his assumptions and he was basically inviting you to correct him if he was wrong. You have refused either to correct him or to affirm him in his conclusions so your own accusations simply have no weight behind them. You’re losing this fight, in case you haven’t noticed.
You pusillanimous worm – no one is saying you have any obligation to do anything, but if you’ve been somehow mischaracterised then that was your opportunity to put that right.
