Would you care to give some clarification on what you are talking about? I realize that many calls don’t originate from your area. But from other countries? Got any evidence to back that up? At my previous job (which I have discussed in above threads) we had as clients:
One of the big 2 credit card companies
2 of the biggest health insurance companies
The largest mobile phone Service provider
and medium sized clients out the wazoo. To my knowledge, not one of our clients ever requested that we call out of the country.
I am thinking about it and can’t make sense of what you are saying. Who are you talking about, and from where are they calling?

Sorry to hear you have such a thankless, maligned job. Do you actually like it? Find it satisfying? Your dander being up suggests you’re making a career out of it. Or is this your first job and you’ve just spent the past several hours finding random threads about telemarketing and posting?
How on earth did you decide, out of the thousands and thousands of message boards out there with people insulting telemarketers to join and post to this one? Bizarre.
We got a telemarketing call for Lifestyle Lift on the voice-mail that I erased ASAP, that was acouple days ago.
Also been on the receiving end of the $3 dollars a week/50 weeks magazine deal, and I gave much the same answer timmar68 that did, that it was motherfucking ludicrous for me to pay $150* for a single subscription when i could use that same cash and buy any goddamn thing i wanted. I think she didn’t like the answer much.
I’d rather work at a job scooping manure for the rest of my days before working as a telemarketer.
