Will gaming graphics performance quality ever match that of a stop action movie? I realize that most games’ graphics are displayed by polygons, but when will graphics processing be powerful enough to produce a game engine that looks like a stop-action Claymation set, with the right lighting and tone? Or a Lego game where the Lego bricks have the right “shine” to them", like the game was actually filmed in a Lego-stage, as opposed to being rendered.
