Hi Everybody! Hi BeepKillBeep!

Oh, I forgot! Welcome! This is a great board. Hope you enjoy it.

:: severe look ::
Have you been trained in proper ice-cream-handling procedures, soldier?

Aww… the goat really likes the ice cream.

I actually make my own homemade ice cream. :slight_smile: And you’ve just motivated me to go make a batch.

SirYESSir! I have completed the 23 emergency drills and stoppages including the temporal flux nullification procedure (NEVER push the shiny, candylike, tempting red button). I have also learned the most important step, to always carry a small hammer to hit your companion in the knee with to slow them down so the ice cream gets to them first!

Don’t worry BKB, as long as you don’t anger the ice cream you should be fine…:slight_smile: <- Innocent smily face so I quite clearly am not prevaricating in the least.

As mentioned in another post may I humbly suggest caramel sea salt chili chocolate swirl in a Madagascar vanilla base? Damn, now I want some.

Wait, wait…

You gave the ice cream to the goat? Do you have any idea what will happen if either of them balks the littlest bit?

When that barrel of Cockroach Cluster got loose, we lost three staff members and a guest!

BTW, try the pineapple-orange-ginger. The wasabi-mint is a little …restive… today.

Since there is no like button, allow to just say. LMAO. You owe me a monitor. :slight_smile:

Welcome to the boards, BeepKillBeep. I love it when long-time lurkers finally take the plunge, and it’s often interesting to see what topic sucked them in.

It was a question by mr. jp about an algorithmic approach to finding subsets that sum to a particular value (or range). This is a surprisingly difficult problem (it sounds so easy) depending on the specifics. So I felt bad for him, and this is something I’ve worked on for practical applications so I thought I would offer some advice.

Welcome, BeepKillBeep, remember, until you get to know this place better, it’s best to keep your hands in your pockets.

LOL, LOL, LOL, and YUM!

Um…that’s not what BeepKillBeep said. He said that the goat really likes the ice cream. And…uh…I was down in the room with the freezer just now (yeah, that freezer!) but found it occupied. The room, not the freezer. I didn’t get the chance to check the freezer because, well, because I wasn’t planning on doing that anyway. I just sort of, kind of, well, I was just looking for the squid. That’s it! I was looking for the squid! Anyway, I rambling because…well… Apparently, the goat-liking-the-ice-cream-thing is mutual and, believe me, that wasn’t balking I saw. I’d tell you more but…but I just don’t want to think about it right now. sniff

Mommy, I’m ready for my eye bleach now…

Well, whatever happened, it can’t be as bad as the squck.
I hope.

<bolding mine>

hmmmm…

Remember: in an all-out contest, real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time. :slight_smile:

Boy isn’t that the truth! I often say that sadly my programs do exactly what I told them do.
