With apologies to Dr Nick from “The Simpsons” for stealing his bit.

Long time lurker, but I saw a question on algorithms that motivated me to register.

Why am I introducing myself? Am I that important? No, I’m really not, I’m just feeling social and now that I’ve registered I’m hoping to participate more.

So what’s with the name? I’m a AI researcher / scientist and my friends are always accusing me on secretly building Skynet or at a minimum killer robots. So I will often include “commentary” from my AIs and surrounded it with a beep. I’m not by the way honest. Scientist’s honor! beep he is beep

I’m looking forward to participating on this board, especially if there are questions related to computer science or artificial intelligence.

Frankly, no one intends to develop killer robots or Skynet. The problem is when the computer wakes up on its own and decides to kill all the humans.
