"Hi Hi Hi" (Paul McCartney): "Polygon" or "Body Gun"?

One of the mysteries of Paul McCartney’s song Hi Hi Hi is the line at 1:38.

Is it:

“I want you to lie on the bed, get you ready for my polygon

or

“I want you to lie on the bed, get you ready for my body gun

?

There seems to be an ongoing debate about it on the Youtube comments. Either way, it’s a typically silly McCartney lyric, although in general I think this is one of the better songs from Wings.

What do you think he is saying?

I believe McCartney was asked about it and said it was “polygon”. He said he was trying to be risque but at least slightly clever, and when informed of the “body gun” interpretation, he thought it just sounded tasteless.

I always thought it was “body gun” until I read that McCartney said it was “polygon.” The latter is at least a closer rhyme for “trip you’ve been on.” On careful listening through studio headphones, it sounds to me more like “Bobby gone” than either of those. Go figure.

And before anyone brings it up, it’s “But if this ever-changing world in which we’re livin’,” dammit!
