Hi :) if I'm odd this is why

Yes I have excellent plumage.Any female dopers are welcome to inspect it.And sadly I think my AS it’s getting worse. It’s not been at all bad for a few months. But last night I had a bad attack and managed to end up running round the flat headbutting various objects, trying to punch through the door, which hurt a hell of a lot and made me even more upset and ended up revolving in the middle of the room for a while.
Only a couple of weeks ago I had a similar attack at work, and when they came to help me,I fought them off as I thought they were aliens coming to abduct me.
Not great. So it’s back off to the psychologist and see how I get on :frowning:

You don’t wanna read my thoughts.Seriously.Most of them are just bizarre if not disturbing :frowning:

Welcome, Blue !

You’re just in time for the Board’s annual High Colonic.

Everybody gets one. Mandatory.

You first.

I haven’t received my complimentary crack and whores. To whom do I direct my complaints?

Hello and welcome!

I’ve taught a couple of pupils with Asbergers’. Based just on that small sample, they were pretty intelligent, but sometimes had difficulties with standard social situations.
Is that a fair description?

Have you read ‘The curious case of the dog in the nighttime’ by Mark Haddon?
The narration is from the point of view of a 15 year old with autism.

Well,I got 14 GCSES,4 A levels,a degree and have worked as a manager so I guess the brain’s still alive. It’s just the social niceties that it hasn’t worked out…

Get away from me, Bosda. Ugh.

You don’t get anything until you pay. And before the whores come the goats…or didn’t anyone tell you about the ‘initiation’ rites?

Hi, Iceland Blue, welcome to the SDMB. You’ll find you’re not the only Aspie here (see links below, hopefully I did 'em right). My kid Dweezil is an Aspie and Papa Zappa and I have many AS-ish tendencies ourselves - so we’ll look forward to hearing from you - sounds like you’re an adult, and holding down a regular job? which is obviously something we hope will happen for Dweezil.

Welcome!

Were we really?

On the downside, that could mean an influx of members, topping out the server resources that are just now flying again after months of sluggishness.

On the upside, it means all the female dopers will be basically naked except for bits of silk and well-placed hands to conceal nipples and taints.

Hmmm. Slow boards be damned!

Top 100 eh?
What place exactly was the SDMB?
and, hello Iceland_Blue

Kewl. Please for the love of Og tell me you haven’t actually named your child Dweezil. The mental torture that would cause would drive anyone nuts
I also help out as part of a AS carers/parents group and the vast majority of our bairns are boys.Don’t tend to get AS girls so much.Which means that if you’re trying to get in a relationship with one,the chances of forming one are harder from the start…

Don’t worry, Og is merciful!!! “Dweezil” was just his pre-birth nickname. His real name was chosen with great care to minimize the likelihood of people reacting with “Weird name, let’s go beat 'im up”.

You’ll see a lot of Dopers referring to their family members by variants of their own screen names. In my case, I chose my screen name because of my kids’ pre-birth names: my daughter went by Moon Unit until she became an air-breather. “Dweezil” and “Moon Unit” are the names of the late Frank Zappa’s first two kids. Ergo, I’m Mama Zappa.

::nocturnal_tick saunters in fashionably late::
