Though I’m wincing as much as laughing. Last night, watching the Hockey playoffs, I saw someone get a penalty for diving. Who would have thought that hockey officials would have the game better under control that soccer?
I think it will take a World Cup with two important games decided by penalties that replays show were unquestionably dives for FIFA to get serious. And by serious, I mean not only carding players during the match, but also fining/suspending using replays after the fact.
