I have the album Music to mauzner by (by J. Ralph AKA Spy), and I’m searching for the hidden track that supposedly exists on it. I can’t find it. The song in question is “One million miles away”, the lovely tune from the Jetta ad a few years ago when the man was rushing to the church to stop a wedding. I love that song, but I cannot find this track, hidden or otherwise, on the album. Does anyone have any information on this? Is there more than one version of the album?
Hmm. I’ve noticed that the trend with “hidden” tracks trailing seven minutes of silence at the very end of an album seems to be on the way out.
One thing I’ve heard of with regards to a couple of recent albums is that they have a secret track 0, that is, before the first track. Supposedly with this kind of CD you start the it from track one and then rewind / search backwards past 0:00. Have you tried that?
I haven’t seen it myself, but I’m told that these discs only work with newer CD players.
Bonus weird info: I’ve also heard rumors of LPs with secret tracks between the regular ones. Can anyone confirm either or are they urban legends?
Yes, they exist.
Well, I’ve now tried to rewind past the first track, but no result. I’ve also tried selecting track “0”, but it gives me an error message. I’ll try it on some other players. Any other ideas on how to access hidden tracks?
