Is it true that William Sidis had the highest IQ ever recorded? Is Marilyn Savant more intelligent than William Sidis?
Unca Cecil had this to say about W. Sidis:
And the Marilyn is wrong! has a few things to say about Marilyn’s IQ, including charts with standard deviations and mathematical analysis, for those of you who are into that sort of thing.
Justin Chapman scored 298 on the Stanford Binet LM at the age of 6. That’s higher than vos Savant. I think Michael Kearney tested higher than that too.

is Justin’s webpage.
The theoretical distribution of IQ on the bell curve seems to be wrong - there’s many more kids (not all born to media friendly parents ) who score higher than vos Savant.
I don’t think we know or ever will know what the highest IQ ever is. The commonly used tests top out at 140 or 160 depending on who you believe. The SB LM is the only test which is supposed to be accurate over 160 and it is not accepted by all psychs as it is an outdated test. I’ve heard that the new SB which currently is being normed will test accurately up to 300 which I find incredible. When nobody in history has tested that high, how the hell can you norm a test that high?
