The Dittoheads sure yukked it up when Rush Limbaugh called her “the White House dog,” remember?
Big whoop; the typical ten-year-old knows more about foreign policy than GWB ever will.

Funny, this was one of my objection’s about Bush in the first place. The only “ELECTED public official” experience he had was 6 years Gov. in Texas. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve had two Texans tell me that the Governorship in Texas does not have as much power as Governorships in other states.
So “other than having the last name Bush what had he really done…etc.?”
Guiliani was going through a divorce in which he was the adulterer. Do you really feel he was going to win anyway?
Back to the OP: No, Hillary would probably not win if she ran now. The public opinion that is against her is too fervently against her.
IMHO, the only person that conservatives hate more than Bill Clinton is Hillary. Her adamant refusal to be the sort of plastic little woman with the rictus smile that Laura Bush is just galls the right, many of whom still believe that a woman’s place is anywhere but in politics.
Bullshit.
If this were true, Condi wouldn’t be within 100 miles of the White House.
The problem with Hillary is that she rode on Bill’s coattails. I’d have a lot more respect for her if she accomplished everything she has in her own right, and not because she was Hillary Clinton.
I’d vote for her. Just to piss off the wingers. (yes, plenty on the far left would not like it)
Yep, that’s why I despise her…
She has absolutely no sense of humor.
She’s extremely cynical. Remember the “stay at home moms baking cookies” comment?
She has an unquenchable thirst for power and control.
Bitch.
She left a bad taste in my mouth, though lean conservative so that means nothing.
What does seem to mean something, though it’s totally empircal, is that I’ve asked two women I know, both of whom didn’t and won’t vote for Bush Jr., and have democratic leanings their opinions.
One said that she wouldn’t vote for hillary.
The second, a big Gore fan, said “If Hillary ran, I’d volunteer for her opponet”.
Doesn’t mean anything, probably.
rjung I don’t get the point of your post? That Rush Limbaugh is a disgusting human being who gets his jollies taking potshots at pre-teen girls?
I was just countering the idea that nobody feels any hostility towards Chelsea Clinton.
What do you base your assessment of “bitch” on? The fact that she takes no crap from people like you? The fact that she is shrewd and tough? A man with those qualities is considered to be a leader and a contender. A woman is just a bitch.
I don’t like her and wouldn’t vote for her, but the OP is asking whether or not she has a chance at the White House.
Um, my opinion?
This is IMHO, isn’t it?
I wouldn’t vote for Hillary.
Bullshit again. It’s not an opinion, it’s just namecalling.
Words mean things, Chefguy. And it is my opinion that she’s a bitch. Being this is IMHO, I do not wish to debate (GD) the point or complain about it (TBP). I’m simply saying that I think she’s a bitch…
I think it’d depress me if another Clinton ran for and won the presidency because it’d disillusion me from any childhood notions that everyone has the opportunity to run for president in America and make it bleedingly obvious that it’s just the same Rich White Folks tossing the ball between each other.
You mean you weren’t disillusioned already after the 2000 elections?
