Sorry, kittenblue. I just read your last post. If I was going to go for someone who looked like Grace Kelly (or a young Barbara Bush…damn!) and my concern was to find a life partner and someone to care for me in my old age it would be number 2, hands down (assuming I felt the same for her as President Reagan did for Nancy).
I’ve long held the theory that the relationships that are the happiest and most likely to go the distance are those in which each partner is the other’s best friend, and I always held up Ronald and Nancy Reagan as an example of that. I never had to explain myself further.
