You’ve most likely heard the story about the Japanese soldiers who refused to beleive that Japan surrendered and refused to stop fighting.
Maybe you know that one of the best known of these soldiers was Lt Hiroo Onoda who refused to surrender until 1974 - twenty-nine years after World War II ended.
But what I personally had not known until just recently was that Onoda was still maintaining his “never give up” attitude. He’s still alive at the age of 87.
