I thought this was fascinating. The authors of the website give readers a description of the books and then let you look inside them.

What a fascinating site! I was impressed by the 1913 Middle Eastern (‘Oriental’ as its called) cookbook. I didn’t realize such ethnic cookbooks were available so early.

Well that’s pretty cool. I’m looking at “The Ideal Bartender” from 1917. I think I’m going to have people over for a Bombay Cocktail party. I think everyone will be excited about equal parts Olive Oil, Vinegar, and Worcester sauce, with a raw egg, salt, and paprika… right?
