First game I’ve beaten within 24 hours of release. Really, really enjoyable.
Now to HL2 Episode 2… don’t I have exams I need to study for? >_<
The cake is a lie

Just finished Portal about 15 minutes ago, not counting the advanced levels and stuff. So awesome. I don’t care that it was short, it was gooood.
Damn you! I have to wait 'til tomorrow to buy my copy. But make no mistake, there’s an orange box with my name on it at EB Games right now.
Haven’t finished it yet but regarding what happens at level 19
I love that it continues. I was disapointed that I got to 19 so fast but then was plesently surprised that it continued with all the back corridor stuff. Still working my way through that section with the vioce telling me I’m going the wrong way all the time. Great stuff.
Mindfield, I’ve been very impressed with Steam as a game distribution mode–I can get Valve games the moment they came out and when I switch computers I don’t have to dig up a box or CD key.
Yes, I do like Steam – but call me old fashioned, I still feel better with physical media in my hands. Hell, I like the box, manual and all that good stuff. Plus, I can install the stuff offline if I need to. I do like that when I had to reinstall HL2 it automatically downloaded all of the addons from the DVD, though, without me having to install. Although it would have been quicker for me to install from DVD. I’m still going to buy the Orange Box. I have the Director’s Cut box set of HL2 plus the Ep. 1 box, so I can’t go all digital now.
