Hogsfather on TV

Apologies if someone already spread the word, but I just saw that Terry Pratchets’ Hogsfather will be on ION November 25th. I didn’t know I had ION until I came across it accidentally whilst channel surfing.

I have DirectTV, so I don’t have a clue what cable channel it would be, but here is a starting point for those interested: Hogsfather

“ION”?

Hogfather, not Hogsfather.

Formerly i, formerly PAX.

Pardon my sssss’s please.

Hey how bout that. I have ION. Thanks for the headsup.

I saw this earlier in the year. I wondered about a few things so I re-read the book a bit after that. Very few changes of any note. (Who was saying what/when/where.)

Somehow I thought Susan had black hair with a white stripe. Ooops. But once I cleared that up I thought Michelle Dockery was great. Marc Warren as Teatime (it’s pronounced …) was good too. Even gave David Warner the creeps.

OTOH, Death wasn’t lifelike enough for me.

The Death/Susan books are my faves. I gotta have me some “Soul Music”! (Done the same way, not animation.)

Oook?

Thank you, thank you! I just set it to record.

This is worth my registration fee. That’s one of my favorite books, especially having been to Hamley’s.

I saw this and have to say was very disappointed, it didn’t have the zing I expected and I don’t think Susan worked well. I agree Teatime/Marc Warren was good but Death was terrible. Saying that I only watched the first episode (didn’t want to watch the second one as I was bored) so maybe it spectacularly improved and I didn’t see it.
