I’ve lived there. It sucks. I don’t think it’s racial in origin, I think it’s poverty in origin. There are better parts and worse parts of Orange Mound. I lived in a worse part for a few months, and I saw a lot of petty to violent crime in that short period.
I guess it’s like Frayser though. There’s very nice parts and very, very bad parts.
Aw that’s really cool to hear! She’s the small dog wrangler. She spends all day pleasing and cleaning up after about 30 little yappers. I couldn’t bear it the short time I visited. I could not work in a day care, whether it’s kids or dogs. Too loud!
I hear you, LOL. When I drop my kids off at daycare, after saying my good byes and giving the kisses and hugs, I can’t get out of there fast enough. The noise alone is enough to make your hairs stand on end.
OP, if you end up living anywhere near Sycamore View Ave I have fantastic daycare to recommend if you are interested.
