Oh, I’ve been there. I went with my parents to a mega church once. Once. It was like a cliche business presentation, christian church, and new age self help crap rolled into one – plus a “rock and roll” band! Ugh. The program even advertised their Sunday school as “Sheep School”.
They sold coffee, audio tapes of services, and books in the lobby right outside the sanctuary – clearly honoring Jesus’s well-known love of merchants in temples.
