Home Depot Job Interview - What to Wear?

. . . I wear a bowtie.

Socks. You don’t want to get cold feet.

Today is the day! We expect full details - and good luck!

And a nice pair of shoes!

For the OP, assuming you are female, ditch the purse and put all your stuff in a 5 gal, orange bucket.

Seriously, I think everyone else has it covered. Good luck!

Yes! Have m fingers crossed for you!! And we want an update!

yeah orange top. show you like the color.

I worked at Home Depot briefly when I moved back here 2 years ago, as a seasonal worker in the lawn & garden department. I dressed in “business casual” - black pants and a black striped shirt.

In the meantime, I started my home-based business, and did consider going back the following spring until I got my W-2. I made $914, and it was.not.worth.it.

As it happens, last night I got an e-mail from Home Depot specifying “business casual, no open toe shoes”.

The interview went well, I felt pretty comfortable with it. Obviously, I’m not the only one interviewing so they said they’ll probably make a decision by next Tuesday on who advances to the second round of interviews.

I want to send a thank you to the woman doing the interviewing, I’m debating if I should mail a note or drop it off at the service desk for her.

I’d drop it off.

Agreed. Mailing will probably not get it there before the decisions are made. Email would be the best option (if it is an option at all).

A smile.
