Homebrewed hangover

Last night I had a couple of glasses of some cider I brewed a couple of weeks back. Now, normally I don’t get hangovers. A slightly fuzzy head perhaps, but nothing like this!
I feel like there is a little guy in my head mashing up my brain with a sledgehammer!
The juice I brewed to make the cider was unfiltered, so I am hypothesising that the yeasties chomped up the cellulose and produced methanol, an essential ingredient in any really top class hangover.
Thoughts?

You may have had an alergic reaction to the yeast. Were your sinuses clogged up causing a massive headache?

Some people have a similar reaction to dark draft beer that is not pasteurized to kill the yeast.

A couple of weeks seems a pretty quick secondary ferment fo cider. That’d be a bare minimum for an ale, and I’ve always found cider took a whole lot longer to be ready. Was it sweet and flat?

No, actually, It was quite harsh… at a guess, I’d say about 8%. Lightly carbonated. I’ve never brewed before. I just shoved an airlock on the top of a juice bottle and brewed in that. Turned out suprisingly drinkable.
