I watched the sketti episode then after that watched an episode of Real Housewives (I think New Jersey) and in the show one of the housewives was pulling out the same big tub of Country Crock from their fridge. For a proper dinner, of course. For some reason this tickled me to no end.
Country Crock shall unite us all!
It wasn’t quite THAT bad, although it was pretty :eek:. It was the oldest girl, Anna Marie, who was pregnant, and she peed herself a little.
I have to say, I’ve actually grown to like them. Yeah, they’re a complete trainwreck, but they’re good people. I like that June doesn’t seem like a total stage parent, and Allana isn’t pushed to do her pageants. She said, “she’ll keep doing them as long as she wants to.” (And Allana is absolutely adorable. She’s a real ham)
And TLC is totally exploiting them by NOT paying them more. I was absolutely shocked when I saw what they were getting paid. WTF??? They’re putting this family on for laughs and just giving them pocket money?
The sneezing is probably due to the time of year – June might have allergies.
Although roadkilll sausage still makes me queasy. No. Just…no. Wouldn’t that be hazardous?
It’s not exploitation. What if the show tanks? First season reality show salaries are typically low. If a show is a hit, their agent will negotiate a better deal for them for the second season.
