It wasn’t Mardi Gras for New Orleans, it was “New Orleans! Home of pirates, drunks, and whores… New Orleans! Tacky, overpriced souvenir stores… If you want to go to hell, you should take a trip. To the Sodom and Gomorrah of the Mississip’: New Orleans! Stinking, rotten, vomiting, vile…” etc.

No IIRC Marge came out after the Streetcar! episode (a seperate episode) and explained how she thought she would have to make an apology to the city of New Orleans but they did not recieve any complaints.
My big problem with Roman winning is that I didn’t think The Pianist was a very good film. I don’t think Brody should have won either.
