Horrific discovery on deceased abortion doctor's property

Bold mine. the thing he did to get his medical licence ‘yanked’ was to give a abortion to a minor (IIRC age 13) without informing her parents, which has not a lot to do with Roe vs Wade…

Some of the posts here have me thinking of Eating Raoul.

Oh, Atamasama, the latest news out of South Korea is about DNA evidence leading to the identification of a serial killer. Now, I might be biased in this, but the cops in the ROK are not the Keystone Kops so many people think they are. (My brother-in-law is a Korean police detective on a serious crimes squad).

This is why I never buy Girl Scout Cookies.

I expect the really early abortions are disposed of like any other medical waste (or supposed to be treated as such). There was an attempt to pass a law in Indiana that any abortion be treated like an adult death, requiring burial/cremation would would greatly inflate costs, but the law did not pass. Later-term abortions I don’t know - those are typically performed due to medical problems for the mother, or due to severe deformity in the fetus/baby and a different situation, it’s possible that the family might want to treat it as the death/burial of a baby.

One neighbor has described the doctor as having a bit of paranoia (thinking “that people were talking about him”) and a garage so full of boxes that “[y]ou couldn’t fit an ant in [there].” “‘Hundreds and hundreds’ of other boxes, packed floor-to-ceiling,” which investigators had to sort through to ensure they found all the remains.

Additional fetal remains discovered in trunk of car belonging to late Indiana abortion doctor - are any more out there?

The old craze used to be Beanie Babies.

That very much does sound like a certain type of hoarder then. Perhaps he never throws anything out, including the fetuses he aborted.

Update:

Why is it necessary to identify the fetuses? I doubt there were any amber alerts out for them.

Doesn’t Indiana have one of those fetal burial laws? In that case, I would guess the authorities are either searching for information to put on tiny grave markers, or they’re looking for women to shame/punish in some way.

Quick and dirty math tells me this guy was doing 2-3 procedures a day. Busy guy.

Wilt Chamberlain claimed a similar level of activity. Admittedly, it was trying to put babies in women…

Because right now everyone is just assuming that they’re fetal remains from consensual abortions. It’s possible that there are fetal remains from something else in there.

Looks like they wanted information for a memorial service/burial, which will be in Indiana tomorrow.

:smack:

I completely understand wanting to dispose of the remains in a respectful manner, but a “service” sounds like they’re just out to make a spectacle of things.

My next prediction: the burial marker will contain a reference to the slaughter of innocent lives. >.<

Is Chicagoland a magnet for off-the-wall practitioners, or what? (Yeah, I know it’s a big city.) I have a feeling that THIS story is going to be much bigger than it looks on the surface.

TL : DR - a pediatrician who committed suicide last year may have fraudulently filled out records stating that children were vaccinated, when in fact they weren’t.

I just assumed you meant that his license was suspended in 2015, he himself was suspended earlier this month, i.e. he passed.

I visited this museum awhile ago and found it fascinating. It is a niche bucket list item, definitely not for everyone.

Fans of the Holistic Doctor Murder Conspiracy will be glad to know that patients/fans of Dr. Koinis are already suggesting that he was actually murdered at the behest of Big Pharma.
