Horror movie trivia

Okay, it’s coming up on that time of year in which we celebrate virginal heroines, blood-splattering and all forms of gruesome dismemberment in low-budget flicks. Ergo, It’s the “Halloween” season. Therefore, we need to start a horror movie trivia thread.

I’ll start it. Below are the descriptions of several characters from horror movies. Identify the characters and the fright flick from which they hail.
-A lesbian-leaning research scientist who specializes in theories about human aging.

-A teenaged wallflower with a crush on Ben Kramer.

-A suicide victim who looks exactly like “Victoria Vetri, the actress.”

-A U.S. senator with a missing child who makes a (proverbial) “deal with the devil.”

-A young mother from “a family of renters. Nobody [in her family] ever bought a house before.”

-Rapacious vampires who haven’t “had this much fun since Haight-Ashbury!”

-A nomadic fiend who proudly recalls starting the fire that destroyed Chicago.

-A stripper who is cursed by a spurned midget to give birth to a devil child.

Judy Garland as Dorothy, The Wizard of Oz. Unrated director’s cut.

Is this from Near Dark?

I have no clue on the others. I haven’t watched horror movies since the early 80’s.

Silence of the Lambs.

The Lost Boys?

Marc

No.

Once Bitten

First one–Veronica Lake in Flesh Feast ?
Second–“The Legend of Lylah Clare”

Correct.

Correct.

You are correct. (BTW, none of these films are recent. In fact, I believe “Near Dark” is the most recent of all of them.)

Uh…no.

So these are older movies? Cool, that helps.

I think this is The Hunger – Susan Sarandon’s role, not Catherine Deneuve’s.

Correct.

That’s Jamie Lee Curtis in “Halloween,” but I’m pretty sure the name was “Tramer” or “Traymor” or something like that, and not Kramer.

Poor Ben got run over by a car in “Halloween 2.”
