When I visited NYC back in June I noticed all the ambulances seemed to have a hospital name on the side. Like Saint Vincent Hospital etc.
Does this mean the hospitals own and dispatch their own ambulances there? Like here in Chicago, you call 911 the ambulance comes and takes you to the closest appropriate hospital.
