For years, I’ve been trying to find the identity of the song featured in this commercial:
Internet fora dedicated to figuring out such things resulted in dead-ends. I’ve thought about posing the question here, but shyed away from posting something as trite as “what song is this?” HOWEVER, thanks to my son’s love of Danger Doom, which led us to look into who Danger Mouse samples (e.g., Keith Mansfield), and then led us into the world of the KPM 1000 series, I now know–and feel it is my duty to share–that the name of this tune is “Hot Pants” by Alan Parker and Alan Hawkshaw.
