As with the impeachment, the goal isn’t necessarily about convicting Biden, it’s about rehabilitating Trump. A frivolous impeachment or indictment serves them just as well as a serous one because then they can claim that all indictments and impeachment are frivolous, neutralizing the ones against Trump. It’s all about leaving an opening to both-siderism.
