If anybody owns an electric garage door opener, you might have noticed the bulbs burn out faster than you can imagine.
Happened to me a lot.
Then I found out there is such a thing as an electric garage door opener light bulb!
Seriously…it is a light bulb that is not affected by the vibrations caused every time the door opens and shuts.
You can buy the bulbs at any major retail store, but you have to know to look.
They are slightly more expensive, but since I put them in, I haven’t had to change a bulb in over a year - so far - and still going strong.
OK, so it is not earth-shattering, but it annoyed me to no end to have to change those bulbs and wonder if there was a short or something.
Got any other tips that might seem obvious to some, but made your life easier when you found a solution?
