Men are usually older in most relationships. I also suspect that the average poster leans towards the penis side of things. Your average will be skewed high.

Or, maybe, you need to define generations differently based on genders (of parents and of kids).

sheesh, I would have to do real math as round two were twins. Let’s just round off and call it 41. 3 survived to adulthood, but one just barely and no longer on this mortal coil. RIP Serena.

I’m not good at math and can’t figure out how to average my age, since the months aren’t decimals
Elder kid, born when I was 37 years and 10 months
Younger kid, born when I was 40 years and 6 months
They’re both in their 20s now, so no more kids from me

Never mind, adopted kids don’t count per your rules, but I don’t see why not, as their birth parents aren’t going to be posting here.

Just a way of discouraging people with uncertain results. “I think I might have gotten at least six girls pregnant in my heyday, but I think one of them might have miscarried (I was in jail at the time, and never got the whole story) and two said they didn’t have abortions but one of those was a terrible liar, and I don’t really trust the other one, so let’s call it four kids, none of whom I’ve ever seen. I ranged from 16 to almost 30 during this time, so I’ll average my age out at, say, 24.5” is not an answer I want to even look at.
