I never used to get stick in Ohio but something about the California winters don’t sit well with me. My current cold is annoying because it waxes and wanes due to my exposure to others who are sick. Most of my classmates are sick and one of my roommates just got sick, so while I am recovering from one I catch another! I’ve been drinking lots of chicken soup, vitamins, and getting rest when I can. I finally got to my doc and she gave me a prescription for antibiotics. I’m only on the second day and I haven’t had any trouble breathing in the past two! I’ve also started exercising again which I had to stop due to muscle soreness.
Well, it was fixable for her; I can’t speak to your case. I don’t know what the treatment is called - the condition is simply referred to as calcification of the sinuses (or paranasal sinuses, if you want to get technical). If that calcification takes place around a foreign object (think of it as your own personal “pearl”), then the result is called a sinolith.
I know this isn’t very helpful, but I’m sure you’ve considered that having a low-grade dental infection is probably messing with your overall immune resistance, right? I’m sure you’re throwing garlic at every bug that comes along, too? Hope you feel better soon.
Hmm…actually, no, I hadn’t considered it. That’s a really good thought, actually. There are no “signs” of infection, but it could indeed be.
And yes, garlic and I are friends. As are Airborne and I.
