You want to start a thread, I’d be happy to discuss the pre-civil-rights-era history of the Confederate flag as a symbol of the South. Withplentyofexamples.
Note that I am not defending flying the flag. Just disputing the historicity of your claim.

If you guys wish to discuss the history of the flying of the flag, I think it would be an excellent idea to start a GD thread on it.
Once again, this thread should be restricted to the legal aspects of flying the flag at present. Other aspects should be taken to the Pit or GD.
