How can I get a wood-grain leather jacket?

Today I was playing pool at a friend’s house and I noticed something about the pockets of the pool table: the outsides of the pockets were covered in light-brown leather, and the leather had a wood grain look. In other words, it looked exactly like actual wood - I thought it was real wood until I touched it.

I thought at that moment that it would be really cool, and also as far as I know extremely unique, to have a whole jacket made of that wood-grain leather. I highly, highly doubt that any designer already makes a jacket like this - it would have to be custom made.

What’s the best way of having a jacket like that custom-made? I assume the first step would be to figure out the kind of leather that the pool-table company used, and then contact that leather company and put them in touch with the leather-smith (if I’m able to find one) that would be making the jacket. Is this the best way?

Is this sort of wood-grain leather common? I had never seen it before. Have any of you ever seen it? The pool table was made by Brunswick, by the way.

You can emboss leather with practically any pattern, however, I suspect making an embossing press or stamp for a one shot project might be quite expensive.
