You could also try un-installing servicepacks and hotfixes, or reinstalling your OS without updating at all.

Please take pics for us if anything really awesome happens, like an arm starts growing out of the side of your laptop!

you could install xp service pack 2…or if you really want a challenge, install one of those aol cds that come in the mail. :smiley:

      • The problem here is that you would want to know specifically what you’re getting. If you want to just get infected with -something-, there are a number of ways to do that: just look for any warez/cracks websites and start downloading and running software key generators. Some are legit, but many install various trojans on your PC.
  • Anyway: two virus generating/hacking sites I have are http://www.astalavista.com/ and http://neworder.box.sk/codebox.links.php?key=virii .
    I used to have a site where you could download live + known infected viruses; it is useful for testing antivirus software but I can’t remember the site name, or if it was one of the two I gave already. The NewWorldOrder site has viruse source for download. There are also generator kits that create new viruses but these may not be what you want because it is possible to generate viruses that aren’t immediately detected by current antivirus software definitions.
