I just got a new computer with all the PITA reloading of programs that that entails. I use firefox, and I like the Aspell extention to spell check myself. The problem is this: To use it, it says that I have to have Aspell installed on my 'puter, but when I go to the aspell page and download the program, it’s in the format Aspell.tar.gz. Windows doesn’t know how to open this type of program, and neither do I. I found no help on the Aspell home page. Can anyone tell me what to do? Thanks in advance.
The Win32 version of Aspell, which I assume is what you need, seems to be available on this page . It’s an .exe installer, so you shouldn’t have to un-gzip/un-tar it.
That did it! Thanks a bunch!
