I have an old watch that I like .
The stainless steel band is broken (between two of the links). There are no replacements available (the watch is old).
Can I silver solder or weld the links together? Is there any low-temperature solder that might work?
Silver solder *may *work, but no guarantees.
If the band is a little loose, you might just take the broken link out while you’re at it. Or else, go shopping for a new band.
