How Can I Send A Voice Message To Multiple People At Same Time?

I am thinking about doing a fun project for my college students in class and thought if I got all of their cell numbers (yes, everyone in class has a cell phone!), I could send them the exact same voice message, at the exact same moment, to each.
I know there are laws banning sending mass messages like this, but is there anyway they could call my number for instance, and I could send a response to ALL of them at the same time?
(I really don’t want to have to dial 30 times, and it would defeat the purpose of this project if some got the message a few minutes before the others did.)

I am sure there must be a simple way to do this that I am not thinking of - and no, I can’t use text for this, it has to be voice mail.

This service seems like it will do what you want.

Thank you Garfield226! That looks like exactly what I need - and I don’t even mind coughing up those few bucks out of my pocket to do this. It is a verbal scavenger hunt of a sort, and I wanted to give one of the clues on their phone, so they all have to do something when they get the message. A speedy response is necessary, thus I want to make sure everyone gets the call at (almost) the exact same time to make it fair.
Thanks again.

Of course, if anyone knows of a free service, or other method, let me know!

My kids’ school uses a service like that, but the calls are sequential, not simultaneous. This is clearly very important to you, so doublecheck on it.

The “ShoutNow” page there says things like “Time saved: 1 hour”. But I’ll bet that this means that all you had to do was make up the message and submit a list of phone numbers, and that they save an hour because they didn’t have to dial each number individually. But I’ll bet that ShoutNow did dial each number individually.

If their cell phones have the capability of receiving text messages, you can send one email from your computer to all of them at the same time.

http://www.sendwordnow.com/ and http://www.mir3.com/ are commercial services which can send out hundreds of simultaneous phone calls. We’ve used both and they work well.

Probably not ideal for one-time use.

That would be easy - but it needs to be voicemail.

Thanks - will look into those as well to see how they rate with pricing.

Very good point! I guess I will have to check it out before I do this project. Maybe I will annoy my friends and sing a song! Have them tell me the exact minute they received the call.
