I didn’t know of any either and it looks like Texas has 2. I’m 83 miles from one and 136 from the other.

I’m a long way from any Franklins. The nearest is Wisconsin’s at 77.5 miles, but the one in my state, Illinois, is 246 miles away. Even the one in Indiana is closer at 217 miles. Distances according to Google Maps.

I’m on 60th and Coldspring. Franklin city limits is about 2 miles from my driveway.

Somebody here just has to live IN a Franklin other than the county, right?

We might be willing to count if you live on a Franklin street, avenue, road, court, curve, pike, way, boulevard, alley, or thoroughfare of some sort.

But a burg is more in line with the OP’s intentions.

My home state of Indiana has two Franklins. Neither of which are close to my hometown - 186 miles and 212 miles. I’ve actually been to one of them - a quaint little country town but not much to write home about.

My MapQuest searching-fu must be off. I didn’t find that, or the Franklin that norinew mentioned, if it’s a different one.

And yes, I had coffee at Gingy’s yesterday. I blew a raspberry on Little WeirdNorth’s chubby cheek. He’s a screamer, that one.

I’m bringing her up on September 28th, as far as I know. I’ll be right in Center City - maybe we could grab a quick one before I head back home? I’d prefer sitting somewhere sipping coffee to sitting in traffic.

I live 0.7 miles from Franklin’s Restaurant Brewery & General Store. Does that count for anything?

I live 141 miles away from Franklin, Calif. (according to Mapquest). Franklin appears to be a suburb of Sacramento; could be wrong.

I live 398 miles away from Franklin Lake, Nev.

In Pennsylvania I lived two blocks away from Franklin Street (which is where all of the hookers…uhm, hooked).

I guess once we establish whether or not somebody lives in a community named Franklin we could start with the places of business.

Isn’t it the $100 bill with Franklin’s picture? Maybe somebody is sitting on a Franklin or has one in their purse?

I used Google Maps, and requested directions from Cumberland, MD to Franklin, MD. So, I’m guessing if you went to Google Maps and asked for Baltimore, MD to Franklin, MD, you’d get the one I found.

I’m jealous that everyone except me is getting to have coffee with you. :frowning:
