Yep. One of my best friends from 25 years ago and I lost touch. We didn’t talk for about 12 years. Because of work and circumstance we found each other again. It’s wild how how our lives have led a parallel track.

We have been best friends again for about 3 years. We don’t live that close to each other, but our work is only about 50 miles away. We get together after work about once a month for a beer.

Neither of us are on Facebook. It does just happen sometimes. I’m glad for that.

I found my high school girlfriend on classmates.com (before the days of Facebook). We had had no contact whatsoever for over 30 years. E-mailed her to see how she was doing. We’ve been married for over 12 years now. Not creepy at all; one of the best things that ever happened to me.

Pretty sure the OP is talking about bringing up the adventures in the games closet when he contacts this girl.
