How deep trouble is Carnival Corporation in?

I see your point, but at the same time, that can’t be the only reason for the loyalty. Maybe it’s because of the convenience sample, but you can throw even better benefits at someone to try another cruise line and they’ll stick with the one they know.

If I wanted to have free dinner, dancing, and a nightly show, I’d go to Las Vegas. Las Vegas and visits to heavily tourist-oriented ports don’t really appeal to me.

Lots not to love, actually, at least for me. Too much time on my hands underway, access to too much food, and very brief visits to the parts of cities that the cruise line wants you to see, as opposed to experiencing what you want to see aren’t my idea of a good time. Basically, cruises like the one you’re describing appeal to that class of people who want to go to Europe without leaving the familiarity and comforts of America. Doesn’t do it for me.

Wait, so North Korea just wants to nuke Carnival Cruise Lines? Suddenly, Cherished Leader doesn’t seem that crazy! I think we could perhaps work out some sort of joint action with him…

Throw Kathie Lee Gifford in there and I’m in.

I dunno. Seems like kind of a waste of a nuke when Carnival seems so dedicated to destroying itself.
