Its not just Obama, its Democrtats in general. And you wonder where Democrats get their reputation for being pu$$ies.
What Democrats don’t realize yet is that taking the high road doesn’t pay off anymore, it just gets you a respectable teaching positions after you lose your re-election campaign to somebody like Michelle Bachman.
We don’t do it because its effective, we do it because its right. Maybe that’s stupid. Your call.
I don’t think its stupid. I think its sad that we find ourselves in a situation where demagogues seem to run the country. It might even be tolerable if the demogogues were seriously intersted in the welfare of their country, but they’re not.
They might have guts. They haven’t got vocal chords.
Nor, in all likelihood, seats in Congress.

I’ve got to think that cable TV, in some part, is responsible. Back in the days of the Big 3+PBS, you had to get past the old school head honchos to get on TV. A little too Howard Sternish and you’d find yourself on your butt. But with the 80s rise in the number of outlets and the increased fight for ratings, Limbaugh could move from radio to TV.
