You were quite welcome to highjack a threat that led into a legal drama that had all of us on the edge of our seats. And most of all, we’re happy that justice worked out for the best. In my case, there wasn’t a chance I’d be booked for murder, once they saw the video. But in your case, they actually took it to trial (and apparently annoyed the judge, which is always great fun!).
By the way, they never took me to the jail. They took me to the posh detective’s office. It made me feel kind of important–not like a common breaking and entering thug.
I hope the whole thing, in your case, can be expunged, so it doesn’t show up on any future job applications.
