If I am a bankrupcy lawyer, how can I make any money off my clients?
Ok, I know that there are plenty of people who file for bankrupcy while still having a tidy sum in offshore accounts, but what about the ones who are genuinely bankrupt? How are they going to afford a lawyer?
Are there any court-appointed bankrupcy lawyers?

A “friend of mine” who screwed his life up and filed was required to pay a 750 dollar lawyer fee. They used this nifty system in which “my friend” paid installments of 50 bucks per month.
