Just type the URL (as you did). Example: http://www.straightdope.com
Make it look more professional with a bit of code. Example: [**url=“http://www.straightdope.com”]The Straight Dope

Don’t try HTML here. The administration has disabled it due to misuse (some moron used it to hide ad banners). vB code (with the addition of the [**sup] and [**sub] tags) will have to do.

Instruction on how to post stuff really goes in the ATMB forum, but this thread looks pretty played out, so here goes:
To quote another poster’s post hit the “quote” button below that post. If you want to insert a quote manually, just type {quote} and {/quote} around the quoted material, using square brackets instead of curly ones. The lines and indentation come automatically.
