It’s really easy with a big stand-up mixer. If you’re going to do it by hand, I would prepare yourself for a workout.
and just for fun, you can also butter cream. My kids used to love this. Get some whipping cream, pour it into an empty mayonnaise jar, screw the lid on tight, and vigorously shake, shake, shake your booty. The stuff gets thicker and thicker and then suddenly, the curds separate from the whey, and you get a big lump of butter rolling around in the jar. You can dump it out and spread it on a cracker and, voila. xo C.
Thanks for the help. Did it by hand, and it wasn’t too hard at all. Made some wonderfully light cookies.
