I’m doing a dance for a show and I need to cut a song so only a part of it is played. Now the problem is I’ve got no idea on how to go about this. I’ve got iTunes, if that helps any. Thanks a bundle!
It seems like this gets asked almost every day. There are many, many ways to do this. I, like many people here, will recommend Audacity:
You want to do it in iTunes? Easy.
Highlight the song and choose “Get Info” from the File menu.
Click the “Options” tab.
Check the “Stop Time” box and enter the exact time you want the song to cut off.
Click OK, and that’s it!
Huzzah! That’s exactly what I need.
