How do I fix a headerless MPG file?

I have a .mpg file that I’d like to burn onto a CD. Unfortunately, RealPlayer does not recognize it as a valid .mpg file, meaning it can neither play nor burn it. But the video player that comes with Kazaa plays it fine! RealPlayer tells me that the file doesn’t have the appropriate .mpg header which identifies the file, or something like that.

Anyway, the gist is that I have a perfectly valid file with some technical problem that I need fixed in order to burn it. Sort of like a poorly coded website that some browsers read fine and others can’t. Anyone know how I fix it? Thanks.

Try using the Nero CD burning program. If you just want to put the .mpg file on a CD, you’ll have no problems. If you want to burn it as a VideoCD or SuperVideoCD, Nero can do that too.
