I don’t know how many Dopers have heard about “Star Wars: Episode 1.1 - The Phantom Edit (The Correctors’ Edition),” but it’s a professionally (though illegally) re-edited version of the movie that’s been making the rounds in LA. Legend has it that several things have been improved in this version… I’m a bit skeptical, but I’d dig seeing it. I’m in New York City. Anyone have any leads as to how I can get a chance to see it?
Hell, I’d like to see it also. Rumor has it that it was done by Sophia Coppola and Nick Cage. Sweet.
